Mission to Zavial,
We took the rental-surf car on the scenic route down to Zavial. You know the saying; ‘dont be gentle, its a rental?’ My guests lady was driving. And she was driving in style. Without feeling uncomfortable *I was sitting in te front, she really knew how to work that thing.
With a little extra speed, I thought it was cool to show them some hidden algarve gems on the way.
Big waves in Zavial,
Ones we passed the Astrix and Obelix stones and some nice lookouts we arrived at Zavial. By the time we got there we werent the only ones. Cars were parked all the way up to Raposeira but our driver got us a VIP spot all the way in front anyway. *Jeah I was a little impressed,
After zavial we hit this beach. I didnt take any pics on Zavial this day.
As we arrived we paddled straight to the peak, that was still empty. As the first set arrived I straight away got a nice wave.
It was a little heavy and intimidating for my surf buddy who wasnt comfortable surfing so close and in front of rocks. He moved to the inside in front of the beach and I surfed the point.

When we really could not paddle anymore and went out I got invited for lunch. I dont know any spot that serves fish as fresh as this one. And with this view? Super stoked about this full day surf guiding.
