First summer surf of the season with Surf Guide Algarve at Bordeira
As we all know, after rain comes sunshine and after good waves, come… Lets be honest, bad waves. A few days ago the Algarve still holding up in any surf clip. Boards broken and barrels made. This week the sun is back and the waves gone. Obviously there are still waves to surf. Probably not as epic as last week, but anything is better then nothing, right? Surf Guide Algarve doing it again
Forecast looks just sad. Onshore wind and almost no swell. While the rest of the Algarve calls in sick for the surf we are on our way. Flowers and green everywhere you look, only the drive is worth it. With low expectations the lineup actually looks pretty fun. Small but for sure surfable. Not a single person on the beach or in the lineup, lets go! One of our dutchy surf guide algarve guests mentions halfway the session. ‘Dude this would be a dream surf in the Netherlands with no one out.‘ Tide is in our favour and as the morning sun climbs the waves actually become more and more fun.
