Did you know that before Portugal we were in Costa Rica for a bit? All in all Costa Rica is one of the best places in the world. Waves, people, nature, food, everything about it is incredible. Yet it is very far away from family, add to this that there are a number of things not really well taken care off. Fast forward eleven years, and here we still are. Living the dream in the Algarve. Summer waves
By the times summer comes the waves usually slow down and the wind starts. Does this mean you can not surf? Of course we can surf! Heavy water sessions just have a bit more space in between and you need to be creative at times. Tides always have huge influence on the waves in the Algarve. Whatever beach works best on what tide will stay our secret for obvious reasons. Being at the right time at the right spot really means everything, also in summer.
Old guys rule
surfers have all one thing that we share, our love for the ocean. Usually this is a period of someone life, most people kinda get responsible and normal. When two very likeminded dudes from two parts of the world meet there is a lot to talk about. Luckily our new Costa Rican friend is here for a bit and we share a couple more sessions together.
