Surf Guide Algarve and the Summer that keeps providing
Life is a movie and karma is a bitch. As been mentioned before summer is the least favourite time of year for surfing. Normally that is. Somehow this summer keeps providing us pretty much non stop with really fun conditions. Even a couple of really good *and heavy, days, in the middle of summer! Enjoy the full story and pictures, Surf Guide Algarve flowing trough the motions.
To new friends
First of all, a really great part of Surf Guide Algarve‘s guests return- yet not in summer. Or at least, usually not in summer. Expensive, hot, crowded, windy, and often not the greatest waves. Shy on returning guests, we score a couple of missions with new friends. Who on their turn probably come back sooner or later too…
Heineken green
‘‘Morning bro!‘‘ a unknown guy yells as I arrive on the beach in the morning. Reply, ‘‘Morning dude, you still drinking or already?‘‘ dude, ‘still drinking bro!‘ – Grinning, I unpack my Gibson Surfboard. ‘‘Wow, nice board! Look its the same colour as my can!‘‘ Me, ‘‘You mind holding it for a second while I shoot a quick picture?‘‘ ‘‘Not at all bro…‘‘ Good vibes go a long way, we all enjoying the moment and he will not be in the way in the water!
What it is all about
In case you make it this far into the blog you already know what its all about. Sure, good waves help, and in the Algarve wind even more. But what really matters is sharing the stoke with likeminded people. Even if the waves are not epic we can still have an amazing time. Teaming up with likeminded souls like yourself is what drives us to keep going every day, onshore or offshore, good or bad. So when the wind turns good again, we are ready, are you? Hit us with a quick message and join us for the next mission.
