Help, my arms are falling off! Back to back scores with Surf Guide Algarve
Can we somehow get a few sets of new arms please? Usually there are a couple of days with good waves followed by more average conditions. In this case you can go a bit harder on the good days and take it a bit more easy the next day. Obviously the sessions often times do not go the way you plan them. Resulting in a lot of marathon sessions in a row. Surf Guide Algarve goes from South to West. Enjoy the story, Help my arms are falling off, with back to back scores.
Mareta madness
South swell or Sueste as they like to call it here, brings a special kind of surf. Short period waves with warm water. Add a favourable wind direction and it gets into a wave catch machine. Quantity over quality, roll the dice and you will get rewarded. First light, first ones out, the crew already getting more waves while I take fotos as they normally do on a session on the west coast. Finally arms are giving in and the tide starts to make the waves shorter and more on the shore. The surf guide sees a little window and goes for a quick sescond…
Wild Wild West
Following up on the adventure we heading West again. More period, offshore and some real fun waves. Yet you have to get there first. Castelejo almost putting in her veto by not letting us paddle out in the first place. Non stop close out sets hammering on the shore, is this really a good idea? Luckily we insist and the ocean calms down for a minute. Out the back there is a real fun long left that has our names all over it.
