Wave of the day
Every session she comes in, ‘the wave of the day‘. Some people get all spiritual about it, other call it just luck. One thing we all agree on, its sick if you get it. More often then not the wave escapes any form of capture of any camera. Luckily our OG surf guide guest just switched on the camera and gets it. While the whole morning the waves are around shoulder high with not too much energy. All of a sudden this thing comes in. Scratching to get in position and holding on for dear life on the bottom turn with the twin fin. Stoked with this one.
All fun and games until someone missing a fin
Finally the wind turns offshore for a few hours. Careful not letting the expectations rising to high we drive to the spot. Empty, pretty much perfect little barrels welcoming us. Whenever the conditions are like this you need to hurry, cause it will change quick. Flipping the coin our buddy decides to shoot a few pics before. Shooting this epic barrel shot of the very first wave. You would think loaded with this much good karma he gets some epic waves too. Unfortunately he looses his outside fin on his very first wave. Thinking positive, for a right barrel you do not need your left fin… Eventually I take my turn on the camera and he gets a couple of fun ones on my board. Sharing is caring!
