Finding early easter eggs with Surf Guide Algarve on the West Coast
Easter is always a busy time in the Algarve. In a way its like a little taste of summer. But then with better waves. Masses of tourists flock the quiet towns of the Algarve. Many surfers too. Luckily Surf Guide Algarve always has a few tricks to score empty waves. Enjoy the full story. Finding early easter eggs on the West Coast!
Bigger then it looks
Looking down from about 35 meter high on top of an empty line up, waves always appear to be smaller then they are. Smaller and easier to surf. Once down on sea level its a different story. Finally paddling out and trying to find your position you understand why there is no one out. Pay to play is the motto. Different swells mixing the line up is not easy to read. Yet when you find yourself on the spot it is all o-so-worth it.
Go hard or stay home
These kind of waves are not for every type of surfer. How can I say this as positive as possible, you need to be a bit mad to like this kind of adventure. Currently Surf Guide Algarve is joined by some of the hardcore returning crew and they are just that type. Rewarded by the magic wave, the amazing scenery and empty waters. All on our level we go as hard as possible. Inspired by the story and pics? Get in touch now and maybe we can share some moving salt water in the future.
