Spring is officially here and we are really enjoying every moment of it. Sun is shining but its just the perfect temperature. Gosh could it be spring for ever. Although, it is the mix in spice that makes it nice I guess. In this story we go from pretty much perfect longboard waves to a little larger and just a perfect in between in the third session. Small waves Big stokes
As been said before, small waves are super fun too. Especially when you know it will be small and take the right board. Today the Surf Guide Algarve adventure is joined by a dude who actually really knows how to work a longer board. Longboarding done well is just a pleasure to watch. *And do. Soft offshore wind, clean small waves and a perfect sand bar with no one else out.
Skatepark waves
Next day its time for waves with a little more punch. Although the forecast actually promises more, the waves are great. Tide is full so Zavial is a true skatepark. Offering sections you can go as madd on as your abilities allow. Again an offshore breeze *now from the north, as we surf on the south coast. Very few people in the line-up and more waves then we can take.
Girls only!
Interesting enough in surf schools there are more girls then men. Yet when you look at most lineups men are almost always in the majority. Same goes for the surf guide guests, most crew is male. Braking habits today with a full girl crew. Sure thing the guys in the lineup do not mind sharing the waves with this bunch. Extra shout out to the girl who shoots the incredible pictures from the previous day and really shines today. Conditions just close to perfect.
