Perfect summer waves with Surf Guide Algarve, what more can you ask for?
Summer is clearly not the best time of the year for surfing. High season everything gets more expensive and funny enough, the waves usually only get worse. Luckily there is always exceptions on the rule. Finally we get a couple of no wind days with a fun size swell. Surf Guide Algarve is scoring the same peak two days in a row. First with one of our all-time VIP dudes. Second day with a girl all the way from Australia. Perfect summer waves with Surf Guide Algarve, what more can you ask for?
Do not be a sheep
Most people are do. Whenever there is a peak with some crew taking waves most people just jump in right where the others are. Strange if you ask me. Cause on this coastline there are many peaks. Spoiler, often times you can find a place all to yourself if you walk just a few minutes. Obviously it really helps to know where there are rocks hidden and what other things to look out for, but thats why you pay a guide. Even on one of the most busy sundays of the year, we manage to find an empty peak with perfect waves. While the main peak has about 50 people all fighting for the same set waves…
Do we need a weddie?
Honestly I love Australians. Or at least, the ones I meet. Accent, humour, their natural style, everything. Saying that, I highly doubt we will ever go there. There are more then enough people in the water without me there. Plus I can see Skippy in the zoo too.
‘‘Do we need a weddie?‘‘ For sure one of my favourite lines from this morning. Actually if you are a little tough skinned you can get away without a wetsuit right now. Rare for the Algarve. Yet you wont last too long and its also just safer, easier and good against the sun to trow a ‘weddie‘ on.
