First September sessions with Surf Guide Algarve
After a somewhat challenging surf summer September is here to stay. Straight away the wind turns offshore creating fun clean surf. Question is, what board to ride? Personally I love to mix things up a bit and constantly trying new things. Most people really only want one board. Surfboards are super personal things. What can work for you will not work for me and visa versa. Technique, style, your weight, age and type of waves all matter equal. This is why there are so many different surfboards on the market. No one said it would be easy
Joined again by one of our VIP guests, a dude from Hungary. Surfing with the guiding team since a number of years and always coming back for more. Personal Trainer in his everyday life, this dude knows his body like no one else. Practicing different kind of sports all on a high level and really put his teeth in surfing. Love and hate on this choice as time and time again he finds out this is the hardest sport of them all. Yes, the reward is there when you do get a good wave but it takes so much to get there! Remember brother, no one said it would be easy!
The perfect surfboard does/nt exist
Dude did you just make a typo in your header? Actually I did not, cause the perfect surfboard does and does not exist. As been mentioned before there is a list of things that are on a list to make a perfect board for you. If its all so personal, incredible to think that there are shops with models that actually sell many of them. Obviously there are boards that are tested trough and trough and have features many people like. Yet there is no better board then a specialised board for you. Together with our friends from Gibson Surfboards and the wife and princess of one of our VIP guests we made him the perfect board. Artwork assisted by the ladies and with the input of the surf guide we really got the perfect board. First session the dude is on fire and surfing on a whole new level, stoked!
Call me when the waves are good
Returning from a solid summer break without any form of salt water entertainment, the dude is ready for action. Please call me when the waves are good *for me! In essence this guy joins the surf guide algarve missions basically since day one. Looking for fun, not too heavy waves. By now I kind of know what sort of waves I can or should not call him for. Mother nature usually F‘s up to make it just a little extra challenging but today was actually just chilled. Autumn is coming, September is here, on for many more sessions bro!
