Other things to do in Lagos
Lagos has a great number of restaurants and we haven’t gotten to try them all out but amongst our favorites are:
- KISA’ Real Italian Food: Can you imagine a greater match than pizza and surf? KISA has brought them together by combining their pizzaria with a surf shop downstairs. They’ve also made a large downstairs area available for exposure of all sorts of surf artists. Expect an ongoing surf photo gallery, surf presentations, surf movie nights and much more.
- Barbosa bar & kitchen: beautifully decorated, a lovely patio, great food and amazing drinks. Barbosa gives Portuguese food a modern twist with attention to detail.
- A Barrigada: Don’t expect haute cuisine when you go to a real Portuguese restaurant. Do expect the amazing natural goodness of charcoal grilled fish (or meat) served with salads and boiled potatoes. A Barrigada (a barriga being a fat belly) is all of this plus affordable and amazingly located in the Marina of Lagos, right next to the old harbor. Don’t be surprised to share the restaurant with many locals as it is a popular hang-out! Also perfect for groups with their all-you-can-eat fish or meat option.
