When surfing in the Algarve, you quickly learn to be surprised. With the same west coast peak on fire the past days, all forecasts pointed towards today being the day of all days on this spot. But a stronger then expected off-shore played with the waves, resulting in quite a different set-up today. Nonetheless with hardly anyone out and some quick little barrels I had another amazing session here. We refueled with a quick picnic with friends at messy Zavial before setting off to find some perfect protected waves for the missus somewhere on the south coast. Of course I couldn’t resist. Double session? Why not! Now time for some double sleep…
