Ciao amigos!
Ciao! ‘This is Nick from Italy, just to check in if everything is ok?’ How can everything nót be ok really… At the moment I received this phonecall from Italy I was just done rinsing out the wetsuits of yet another beautiful day of surf(guiding) and with many more on the schedule things where very much ok.

On this day our friend from the UK – Jason – was joining us on our little surf mission. I might know better surfers but I don’t think I have ever met anyone who is so incredibly stoked with the surf and life in general. Surfing trough a back injury in a shorty (water was freezing for Portugal standards…) but so 200% stoked with the couple of waves he got under his belt and the vibe in general. Take a good look everyone; we can learn a lot from this dude.

By now Jason had traded the Algarve waters again for his cold home-break and a new guest arrived. Gherardo ”from Italy”. So now all of a sudden I was driving around with two Italians in my van! I still don’t know much more than a whole lot of beautiful swearwords and my favorite word of all: Ciao!!!
