Good surf is a state of mind

This past week has been a true roller-coaster when it comes down to the surf. I had a few surfguide guests and one dude from Ukraine who described it really well; ‘Good surf is a state of mind’. We had some serious epic conditions just around the corner from Zavial.

Finally on my pink board

A little while ago I fell head over heels in love with a board that almost had my name written on it. The board, being from very specific measurements and used already quite a bit by the previous owner, was a bargain and I had to get it. Unfortunately the board didn’t go as good as I hoped it would. Or maybe I just didn’t put her in the right conditions yet.

with the waves firing like they did I finally got my to know this beast a litte bit better.
