Gone fishing at Praia Castelejo with Surf Guide Algarve
The surf in the Algarve is incredible. So is the fishing. And thats good! Because of this we have access to the most fresh fish in the world, serving up delicious after-surf meals. We like to go spearfish whenever the waves take a little break. But this adventure is about 3 dudes all on a twin fin fish. The Surf Guide Algarve crew on a private peak this morning at Praia Castelejo. Gone fishing!!!
More waves then you can handle
After a few incredible waves one of our guests pulls a muscle in his shoulder and calls it for the day. Stoked with the few waves he did catch he picks up the camera and shoots the pictures for this blog. *Big thanks dude! We celebrate the last surf of our other guest with the best waves he gets in the two week holiday in the Algarve. The waves come in non-stop. There is a perfect A-frame set up with a slightly better right. There are simply just more waves then we can take.
Fish Surfboard
The right surfboard for the waves helps. The board will not make you surf better. Today the fish is the perfect surfboard. The volume up front gives you advantage to catch the wave. The twin fin set up the extra bit of speed. The waves are not really hollow and critical so we get away easy with the low rocker boards.
