Surfing small wave perfection in Lagos at Meia Praia with Surf Guide Algarve
Together with one of our VIP- Surf Guide Algarve guest we load up the rental car with destination Lagos. Must be remembered we have code orange warnings on our phones and the storm is here to stay for a few days. Meia praia offering small wave perfection and we are the first ones on the scene. On this occasion we leave the small boards home and jump on the bigger surfboards. In some conditions more float just means more fun! Enjoy the story and pictures.
Surf pictures
With more rain on the forecast then we had all winter long, it seems almost impossible to shoot surf pictures. Only if you have a water-proof camera maybe. As soon as I say that our guest pulls out his Go-Pro out of his bag. The small clean waves in Meia Praia are perfect to play with the Go-Pro. By all means not easy to be in the right spot to be close enough to shoot a good photo but the result is pretty good!
Tourist tour in Lagos
Different from a few years ago we hardly ever come in the city center of Lagos. By all means one of the cutest cities you can imagine and an absolute must visit when you are here. Another fun fact, in Lagos the sun seems to shine almost always. While we get absolutely blasted with rain on the road and in the water the sky clears as we end our session. At this point all the surf schools rock up and it is time to go. Finally some sunshine, lets go for a little tourist tour and after-surf coffee in Lagos.
