Surf Guide Algarve bringing the Rock back into the Roll
Currently summer is coming in hot. Meaning, not a lot of swell and a whole lot of wind. Fear not, you can still surf every day, but the real epic days will have longer spaces in between. In between the small fun surfs we score an epic west-coast session. All of a sudden the wind turns offshore for a few hours and a big period wave hits the coast just right. Surf Guide Algarve and the crew waxing up the shortboards and all score some real waves. Just a few days later we score picture perfect waves at the other side of the coast. Brining the Rock back into the Roll, lets go!
It is all about that one wave
Obviously its really nice to catch a lot of waves in a surf session. Usually that is the aim. Yet today on the west coast the line up is really tricky. Big sets making it hard to position and with the tide dropping it seems to get more hollow every minute. While this all sounds a bit negative, we are licking our lips. Summertime is not the time for these kind of conditions and we are stoked to get them now! We all get some great waves but the best wave goes to our oldest crew member. Fifty five years young and catching the very best wave of the session. How is that for inspiration?
Only gold is good enough
Overall we settle for silver and bronze too. At the same time, we always strive for gold. Zavial really shows her pretty side today and the pictures are here to prove it. Sharing the stokes with the absolute VIP dream team we can not wish for a better session. Offshore wind, very little people, good waves and even better vibes. Gold.
